This multi-region/multi-system player will read region A, B, and C Blu-ray discs and region 0-6 DVDs. It supports full HD 1080p Blu-ray disc playback through the HDMI output. It will also upscale standard DVDs to near-1080p quality for an enhanced viewing experience.
The BDP-S1700E is compatible with many file and audio formats such as Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio for dynamic surround.
