Product description The Sony BP-GL65 is a lithium-ion chemistry battery for professional camcorders and VTRs that accept V-mount batteries. This battery has a power capacity of 65 watt hours, enough to run a 40 watt draw over 1 ½ hours. With interactive features and lithium chemistry's light weight, these batteries offer advanced reliability and portability. - Advanced INFO Feature
- The BP-GL series of batteries offer the most accurate power consumption and run-time information for PDW, MSW, and HDW series camcorders. Power remaining data is viewed right through the viewfinder in 10% increments. For other camera systems, the LED display gives accurate power-remaining information in 20% increments.
- Discharge Power Curve
- Unlike other battery chemistries, these Li-Ion batteries provide full power output with consistent voltage over the entire run-time. Low voltage battery power often triggers a warning signal once voltage falls below a certain level, usually 12 volts. The BP-GL batteries provide at least 14.4 volts almost up to the very end of their power supply.
