Product description The C-800G Studio Tube Condenser Microphone PAC from Sony is a tube condenser microphone kit designed for vocal and instrument recording where professional-level signal reproduction is crucial. At the core of the C-800G's excellent sonic character is a 6AU6 vacuum tube, which provides outstanding warmth and presence to the input signal to make the microphone a viable solution for instrument and vocal recording.The large diaphragm condenser element yields a true frequency response of 20 Hz to 18 kHz, with a dynamic range of 113 dB. The result is an even, flat frequency response that maintains detail with low signals and transients. Cardioid and Omni-directional polar patterns are user switchable at the front of the microphone. This allows complete pickup control for instrument and vocal capturing.
