Product description Designed to get the organizational part of the process out of the way first, Sony's Catalyst Prepare can be thought of as pre-postproduction software. Catalyst Prepare supports files from a range of cameras, including models from Sony, Canon, GoPro, and works at resolutions up to 4K. Once the rough cut is ready, files can be exported in a range of NLE-friendly codecs or uploaded directly to Sony's Ci Media Cloud Services for remote collaboration. Catalyst Prepare 2016 adds about a dozen important new features, such as Rec. 2020 and FTP support, additional transcode options, and improved proxy workflow.
