Product description Sony's DEMO DCR-DVD810 8GB Hybrid DVD/Memory Stick Standard Definition Camcorder keeps recording easy. It features hybrid capture with immediate playback on most DVD players and computers. In addition, the 2.7" wide touch panel LCD display rotates up to 270° offering you a variety of viewing angles and easy to navigate menus. This top tier model features recording to the 8GB flash memory, DVD or Sony's own Memory Stick PRO Duo or Memory Stick Duo media for quick sharing and playback, saving you from complicated editing processes.
The 25x optical zoom provides clear, accurate close-ups while the built-in zoom mic picks up audio as you close-in on your subject. And, the Quick On button ensures that you'll never miss an important moment again by getting your camera ready to record with just a touch. The DCR-DVD810 gives you the freedom to shoot without having to lug around delicate or awkward recording media, letting you focus on what really matters. - Hybrid Recording
- Hybrid recording lets you capture video or still images to the 8GB Flash Memory, DVD and Memory Stick PRO Duo and Memory Stick Duo media. DVDs can be played back in most DVD players (SD), computers, and Blu-ray Disc players. Use the Memory Stick media for quick and easy emailing, transferring to PCs, printing or using with compatible Memory Stick devices. Also burn video from the Flash Memory and Memory Stick to DVD in-camera.

- The 1/6" Advanced HAD (Hole Accumulation Diode) CCD sensor gives your video and still images exceptional accuracy and clarity with 680k (effective) pixels.

- Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lenses have been designed especially for consumer camcorders. These lenses offer the sharpness and quality of professional lenses.
- DVD Recording Format
- The DVD format records with MPEG-2 compression for audio and video that mimics MiniDV quality.
