Product description The Sony DWZ Digital Wireless Headset Microphone System and Kit from includes a Sony ECM-HZ1UBMP electret condenser uni-directional headset microphone, a headband, a cord clip, a windscreen, a Sony ZRX-HR50 digital wireless half-rack receiver, and a Sony ZTX-B02RC digital wireless bodypack transmitter for used in capturing audio for vocal or speech applications. The uni-directional headset microphone is designed for use with Sony's DWZ series wireless systems. It features a frequency response of 60 Hz to 18 kHz and has a dynamic range of 92 dB or more. It delivers a clear and natural sound and is suitable for lectures, conferences, meetings, or anywhere a presenter needs a hands-free microphone close to their mouth. Furthermore, the Sony wireless bodypack transmitter is capable of transmitting 24-bit linear PCM digital data with 128-bit encryption. Featuring wide-band hopping and narrow-band hopping, the transmitter allows you to choose the mode that will deliver the least amount of interference in any environment. Finally, the Sony half-rack receiver features a balanced XLR output that you can assign to mic or line level. Sony's clear channel scan and best-channel selection will scan available frequencies and tune itself to the clearest channel for quick setup. It features Sony's Clear Channel Scan and Best Channel Selection that scan available frequencies and tunes itself to clearest channel for quick setup. It has two RF modes to select from, wide band hopping and narrow band hopping, allowing you to choose the mode that will provide the least amount of interference based upon the RF environment you are in. The ZRX-HR50 has a front-panel color LCD that provides a readout of your selected channel, audio level, and transmitter battery life. The rotary encoder allows you to make adjustments to the system, including the 5-band equalizer.
The unit has a balanced XLR output that you can assign to mic or line level in additional to an unbalanced 1/4" out.
