Product description The DWZ Series Digital Wireless Instrument System from Sony is designed to provide a wireless miking option for saxophone, trumpet, and other wind instruments. It includes a ZTX-B01 bodypack transmitter, a ZRX-HR50 half-rack size receiver, and an ECM-GZ1UBMP unidirectional electret condenser instrument microphone. - ZTX-B01 Digital Wireless Bodypack Transmitter The ZTX-B01 Digital Wireless Bodypack Transmitter from Sony is designed for use with DWZ series digital wireless systems and accepts either a microphone or instrument input. It transmits in 24-bit linear PCM and has selectable wide band and narrow band hopping modes, allowing you to avoid specific wireless interference that is prevalent in your location.
The ZTX-B01 has a metal body that is designed for rugged use. Its antenna is built-in, providing additional protection from the rigors of on-stage use. - ZRX-HR50 Digital Wireless Half-Rack Receiver The ZRX-HR50 Digital Wireless Half-Rack Receiver from Sony is designed to be used in DWZ digital wireless systems. It features Sony's Clear Channel Scan and Best Channel Selection that scan available frequencies and tunes itself to clearest channel for quick setup. It has two RF modes to select from, wide band hopping and narrow band hopping, allowing you to choose the mode that will provide the least amount of interference based upon the RF environment you are in. The ZRX-HR50 has a front-panel color LCD that provides a readout of your selected channel, audio level, and transmitter battery life. The rotary encoder allows you to make adjustments to the system, including the 5-band equalizer.
The unit has a balanced XLR output that you can assign to mic or line level in additional to an unbalanced 1/4" out. A second 1/4" tuner output allows you to integrate the ZRX-HR50 into a wireless instrument system. It can be used on trumpets, saxophones, and most wind instruments. The microphone is mounted on a gooseneck and features a 2-way clip, allowing for versatility in placement.
The ECMGZ1UBMP has a 5.9-foot cable that terminates in a BMP type 3.5mm 3-pole mini plug. A windscreen and carrying pouch are included.
