Product description The HDCU-2500L Half-Rack-Size Camera Control Unit from Sony is a 19"-rack-size camera control base station for the Sony HDC-2000 and HDC-1500 Series cameras. The unit is equipped with a range of built-in interfaces such as 3G-SDI/HD-SDI/SD-SDI outputs, as well as 3G-SDI/HD-SDI/SD-SDI/analog composite return inputs, and a down-converted analogue composite monitor output. Additionally, a variety of output interfaces are offered via optional boards with can be installed in the free slot located on the HDCU-2500 unit. The built-in LAN interface allows the camera to be controlled over a network and the menu buttons and indicators on the front panel are designed for intuitive operability. The optical fiber transmission system featured on the unit maintains the camera's picture quality across cable runs of up to 6562' (2000 m). - The HDCU-2500 is equipped with a range of built-in interfaces of 3G-SDI/HD-SDI/SD-SDI outputs, 3G-SDI/HD-SDI/SD-SDI/analog composite return inputs, and a down-converted analog composite monitor output. The system has seven SDI outputs, including three 3G-SDI outputs, as standard. It also has three 3G-SDI/HD-SDI/SD-SDI, or analogue composite return video inputs.
- The built-in LAN interface (10BASE-T/100BASE-TX) allows the camera to be controlled over a network.
- A one-channel teleprompter input and two-channel microphone outputs (two XLR connectors) allow for connecting additional equipment.
- The unit has multi-format support for 1080/100i, 1080/119.88i, 1080/50P, 1080/59.94P, 1080/50i, 1080/59.94i, 1080/23.98PsF, 1080/24PsF, 1080/25PsF, 1080/29.97PsF, 720/50P, 720/59.94P and 1080-4:4:4-RGB (@50i, 59.94i, 23.98PsF, 24PsF, 25PsF, 29.97PsF).
- RGB 12-bit output is offered for creative shootings, as well as 3D transmission on one cable, plus double speed acquisition.
- The 2-channel trunk line (RS-422A and RS-232C) is designed to facilitate easy data transmission.
