Product description The Sony HKC-T3300 CCD Extension Block Adapter allows you to take your HDC-3000 into places it previously couldn't reach. Extending the CCD block up to 41 ft (12.5m) from the camera via multicore cable, the adapter gives you the freedom and accessibility of a small camcorder with the high-end imaging and features of the pro HDC-3000. Shoot POV, handheld, on a jib or crane, on a helicopter gimbal or anywhere else a full-size camera would be too large or heavy to be practical. The HKC-T3300 also supports various color viewfinders and all available HD formats, for true creative flexibility. - Compact Imaging Assembly
- When the CCD block is fitted to the split adapter, it provides a very compact imaging unit, ideal for shooting in tight spaces such as in a car, helicopter or even on a motorbike. It may also be handheld or fitted to any traditional camera mount.
- Lightweight
- The imaging assembly is ideal where weight is critical, such as for prolonged handheld shooting.
- Maximum Performance
- The HDC-3300 retains its full performance when used in the split adapter, giving much higher resolution than can be obtained from dedicated compact cameras.
- Quick Conversion Between Modes
- The HDC-3300 optical assembly can be quickly converted between normal and "split" operation, avoiding the need for a specialist compact camera. The HKC-T3300 can be used with any HDC-3300 camera head.
- Full Range of Shooting Formats
- There is no limitation to the operating format when the camera is fitted to the HKC-T3300--all the HD format standards are available:
- Interlace 1080i modes - 1080/59.94i, 50i
- Progressive 1080P modes - 1080/23.98p, 29.97p, 24p, 25p, 50p*, 60p*
- Progressive 720P mode - 720/59.94p, 50p
