Product description The HKSP-R81 Backup Controller Board for Sony Routing Switchers from Sony is a stand-alone backup station CPU board for Sony routing switchers. This unit fits the new SP signal processing format and works with the main processor card, the HKSP-R80, to provide primary station and sub-net capabilities.
This board provides Ethernet and S-Bus connectivity, as well as allowing multiple primary stations in a single routing system. It also permits an increase of virtual router space from 1024 x 1024 to 4093 x 4093. This board also offers multiple primary station capability, which can provide greater system stability under adverse conditions. - Stand-Alone Backup Controller for HKSP-R80
