Product description The Sony MVS-6000 is a Multi-Format capable live or production switcher. This switcher comes in a basic configuration but, offers up to 49 inputs with 24 outputs. It can be put together ala carte with device controls, DSK Faders, and many other modules with special effects and color correction features. Note: This device comes with the main chassis with 17 inputs, power supply, one mix and effect board. Other needed components should be added during purchasing. - Format Converter
- Format conversion capability can be incorporated by adding the MKS-8450G format converter board. This provides up and down conversion between HD and SD digital formats.
- Efficient Operation
- This switcher offer a large color touch-screen menu, enhanced button indicators, crosspoint source-name displays, Flexipad and Shot Box buttons are backlit and offer an LCD indicator for preset pattern icons.
- Creative M/E Functionality
- This switcher is equipped with four keyers for sophisticated layering in one M/E bus. This function is separate from the main fader and allows each keyer to have its own transition controls.
- DME
- A built-in DME allows two video signals to be composed in the background.
- Color Correction
- A highly capable color corrector can be applied to video outputs of the M/E or P/P buses. This assists in monitors to provide true color reproduction of the camera.
- Resizer
- A simple 2D DME offering effects on two of the four M/E keyers for simple operation related to wipes, keyframes and defocusing that can be applied to resized images.
- Side Flags Function
- This function allows a 4:3 image to form a 16:9 image by adding desired graphics to the sides of the 4:3 image.
- Enhanced Frame Memory System
- A frame memory system enables video frames to be captured and stored as still images. A sequence of frames can be recorded as a video clip. This clip is called a frame memory clip. This is accomplished by installing the MKS-8442G Frame Memory Board.
- Clip Transition Effects
- Clip transitions can be utilized when a computer generated image like a logo moves across the frame while a regular transition is performed between video sources.
