Product description The Sony PDW-HR1/MK1 is a portable recorder for Sony's high-end XDCAM HD422 format. The recorder accepts both dual and single-layer professional discs and can record in a variety of different settings. This version comes pre-installed with the PDBK-MK1 SxS Card option, which adds two ExpressCard slots and allows you to also review footage captured to SxS Card media. With its 9" LCD viewer and built-in stereo speaker--and ability to be powered using IDX batteries--this lightweight, mobile deck is ideal for field recording. - The pre-installed PDBK-MK1 SxS Card Option adds two ExpressCard slots to the PDW-HR1 which enables the PDW-HR1 to also read the FAT-32 formatted cards recorded by the XDCAM EX camcorders as well as the UDF formatted cards recorded by the PMW-500 camcorder.
