Product description This black Sony Soft Carrying Case is constructed from leather and provides protection with a dedicated fit for any Sony Alpha a7, a7s, or a7r Mirrorless Digital Camera with a Sony Vario-Tessar T* FE 16-35mm f/4 ZA OSS Lens or a Sony Vario-Tessar T* FE 24-70mm f/4 ZA OSS Lens attached.
The case is comprised of two parts and installs onto your camera by first screwing a bottom jacket into the camera's tripod mount using a built-in D-ring. A top cover which is designed to encase the front, top, and back of the camera along with the camera's attached lens can then snap onto the bottom jacket. A neck strap attached to the camera remains usable even when the top cover is connected. When you wish to use your Sony Alpha a7II after installing this case, it is only necessary to remove the top cover. The bottom jacket does not block the lens and provides access to the camera's battery compartment, memory card slot, as well as its HDMI and multi-interface terminals.
Sony Alpha's wireless communication abilities are maintained while using this case and the bottom jacket features its own 1/4"-20 threads so that it can remain on the camera while you use a tripod.
