Product description The UMC-S3CA High-Sensitivity UHD 4K Video Camera from Sony utilizes a full 35mm frame Exmor CMOS sensor and XAVC S format (at up to 100 Mb/s) to capture 4K/29.97 and 4K/25 color video, and low-noise 12MP color still images. With compact size, minimum illumination of 0.004 lux / ISO 409600, and onboard recording capability, it is suitable for remote POV, documentaries, wildlife and live action shooting, and challenging environments where cabling or space is limited. The high-speed electronic shutter can capture blur-free color video of characters, numbers, and human faces. The camera is also equipped with a mechanical shutter for sharp still images, even when there's movement in a scene.
Equipped with a genlock function, the UMC-S3CA camera is suitable for multicamera installations such as 2D/3D virtual reality, multiple-angle live event broadcast coverage, or as a supplementary studio camera. You can record long-duration video and still images to the camera's onboard SD memory card, or output to an external recorder or monitor via HDMI. You can also use the optional 256GB memory card to record up to 8 hours and 35 minutes of 4K footage with standard quality (29.97p, 60 Mb/s). The area-specific noise reduction selectively divides the image into areas based on patterns, such as edges, textures, and evenly colored areas, to efficiently reduce noise and improve image quality. The camera can be controlled via multi-terminal, remote controller, or a PC and compatible software. - Supports internal recording
