Product description The UTXB03HR/14 from Sony is a lightweight bodypack transmitter that offers wide frequency coverage and operates on UHF TV channels 14-25. It can be used when paired with an optional lavalier microphone and receiver to form a complete UWP-D audio system, which combines digital audio processing with analog FM modulation for interviews, broadcast, ENG (Electronic News Gathering), and EFP (Electronic Field Production) applications. The easy-to-use features include a large LCD display, automatic channel setting function, USB connection for power supply and charging of nickel metal hydride batteries if desired, audio-input level indicator, and mic/line switching controls. In addition, the built-in DSP enables digital companding for high-quality audio transmission, and it allows compatibility with Sony analog wireless systems such as the UWP-D series, UWP series, and WRR series receivers operating on the same 470-542 MHz frequency. A belt clip is also included. - SMC9-4S input connector with locking mechanism accepts the output from Sony EMC-77BC/9X or ECM-44BC omnidirectional lavalier microphones
