Product description The Sony UWP-D16 2-Person Camera-Mount Wireless Combo Microphone System Kit from B&H includes two Sony URXP03 integrated digital portable wireless receivers, two UTX-B03 wireless bodypack transmitters with two lavalier microphones, a UTX-P03 integrated digital wireless plug-on transmitter, a Senal ENG-18RL omnidirectional dynamic microphone (long), and an Auray UPOH universal plug-on transmitter holster. Other accessories include: two microphone holder clips, two mic windscreens, two belt clips, two shoe-mount adapters, two 1/8" to 1/8" mini output cables, two 1/8" to XLR output cables, and a Vello V-Rig 4.1 triple shoe bracket. This kit can be used to capture audio for ENG, documentary work, talk shows, conferences, and a wide range of wireless applications. - Sony UWP-D16 Camera-Mount Wireless Combo Microphone System (UC14: 470 to 542 MHz)
- Sony UWP-D Wireless System Demo
The 470 to 542 MHz version of the Sony UWP-D16 Camera-Mount Wireless Combo Microphone System features an all-metal chassis, easy to read LCD display, wide switching RF bandwidth, USB power and charging options, automatic channel scanning, infrared synchronization between transmitter and receiver, Mic/Line switchable inputs on both the bodypack and plug-on transmitter, +48V phantom power from the plug-on transmitter, a true diversity receiver, PLL-synthesized tuning, output gain control on the receiver for optimizing the audio input level to a camera/camcorder, and digital companding circuitry. The package is suitable for a wide range of wireless applications such as ENG, documentary work, talk shows, conferences, and more. The system is referred to as integrated digital because the transmitters and receiver utilize DSP for digital companding and expanding of the transmission signal. Performing the companding and expanding processes in the digital domain improves the accuracy and transient response of the received audio. The camera-mountable receiver features true diversity technology, which stabilizes reception and minimizes RF interference by using dual antenna, input/reception circuits, and selecting the strongest incoming signal. The angle of the antennas is also adjustable to improve reception when the receiver is mounted on top of a camera or camcorder. The system utilizes UHF Phase Locked Loop (PLL) synthesis to lock the phase of the transmission frequency between transmitter and receiver. The receiver can automatically search for an available transmission frequency and link the desired frequency to the transmitter via infrared connection. A stereo mini-jack output with monitor volume control is featured, and both stereo mini and stereo XLR cables are provided for optimizing the audio input into a camera or camcorder. The unit also includes a headphone monitor output for use with cameras and camcorders that don't have a monitor output. An LCD display provides channel and frequency information, battery life, RF-input level, audio-output status and accumulated operating time. For power, the receiver operates on two AA batteries for up to 6 hours, or on 5 VDC of USB power over a USB micro-B cable. The USB connection can also be used to recharge Ni-MH rechargeable batteries within the battery cartridge. The receiver's compact design and included shoe-mount adapter allows easy mounting to most camcorders and interchangeable lens system cameras. The improved plug-on and bodypack transmitters feature mic- and line-level switches for standard wired microphone- or line-level sources. The plug-on transmitter also features selectable +48V of phantom power for connection to a condenser microphone. Selectable transmission output power provides a choice between 5mW output, which is suitable for simultaneous multi-channel operation, or 30mW output for long-distance transmission. The transmitters can operate for up to 8 hours on two AA-size alkaline batteries, be powered or recharged via USB micro-B connections, and feature comprehensive LCD displays. The system comes with an omnidirectional lavalier microphone, a windscreen for the microphone, a microphone holder clip, two belt clips, a shoe-mount adapter, a 3.5mm mini to mini stereo cable, and a 3.5mm mini to XLR cable. Optional accessories such as a microphone holder, battery case, and soft case for the receiver are sold separately. - Digital Companding

UPC: 027242873834 - Senal ENG-18RL Broadcast Omnidirectional Dynamic Microphone (Long)
- Sony UWP-D Wireless System Demo
The Senal ENG-18RL is a broadcast-quality omnidirectional dynamic microphone. The dynamic capsule picks up sound in a 360° pattern and does not require a battery or phantom power, making it a reliable choice for critical field applications. The microphone's exceptionally low handling noise and resistance to wind noise and vocal plosives make it perfect for professional ENG applications like live reporting, interviews, and press conferences. At multiple areas inside the microphone, natural rubber with special shock-absorbing properties is bonded to carbon steel rings to isolate the sealed inner shell from the outer shell. This system protects the microphone capsule from impacts and inclement weather, and dissipates kinetic energy, dramatically reducing handling noise and resonance due to rustling and knocking. The microphone also incorporates multistage wind protection to minimize wind noise and vocal plosives. A mesh grille, acoustic foam, acoustic fabric, and another layer of acoustic foam work to diffuse excess sound pressure from wind and breath. A fixed rigid carbon-steel ring with a unique bullet-shaped design disperses breath to minimize vocal plosives. The EQ curve is tailored for broadcast use, with a gradual low-frequency roll-off to keep out unwanted rumble, a pronounced midrange to ensure speech intelligibility, and a high-frequency roll-off to eliminate hiss and sibilance distortion. Whether broadcasting on television, AM/FM radio, or over the internet, the ENG-18RL is designed to ensure that dialogue cuts through the mix, and can be broadcast live without EQ adjustment. The ENG-18RL features a durable aluminum-alloy shaft designed for EMI rejection and reduced internal resonance, with a matte black finish for a professional appearance and minimum light reflection. The mic is also long enough to accommodate a mic flag. - Ideal Choice for Critical Field Applications
