Product description The Big March TV Tournament Read More View content at four times the resolution of 1080p with the Sony XBR-Z9D 65" Class 4K Smart LED TV. Lower resolution video sources can be upscaled to near-4K quality and non-HDR content can also be enhanced to near-HDR quality with HDR Remaster technology. This TV has a 64.5" LED-backlit LCD display and incorporates Motionflow 1440 technology to digitally enhance the native 120 Hz panel to reduce the blur commonly associated with fast-moving objects.
The XBR-Z9D has built-in Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity to allow access to your favorite apps and Internet-based content with its Android TV operating system plus content sharing and screen mirroring with your other smart devices such as your smartphone or tablet. With one component video and four HDMI inputs, there are multiple options for connecting high-definition video sources. Three USB ports are also onboard for connecting multimedia peripherals like flash drives. - Discrete LED Control and a Calibrated Beam Design
- The Backlight Master Drive can display High Dynamic Range with enhanced black levels and brightness with Discrete LED Control, which uses an algorithm to control the TV's LED structure. Aiding this is its Calibrated Beam Design, which sends light only where it is needed. Each LED emits a straight beam for greater brightness and more accurate contrast.
- 4K HDR with Near-4K HDR Upscaling
- Sony's 4K HDR Processor, the X1 Extreme, is designed to take everything you watch and improve it to near-4K HDR quality. Object-based HDR Remaster technology enhances color and contrast for a more natural and realistic picture. Combined with 4K Ultra HD resolution, HDR video content delivers augmented detail, color, and contrast, with a wider range of brightness than other video formats.

- Super bit mapping, a feature of the X1 Extreme, is designed to reveal thousands of shades and gradations of light to create a smooth, natural picture as you watch, without the "banding" that can occur on non-HDR TVs. 14-bit signal processing recognizes subtle color transitions and effectively smooths out the gradation between shades, to show 64 times the color levels of a non-HDR display.
