Android 8.0 Oreo
• The Android operating system integrates heavily with Google's services. Using the card-based Google Now, Android quickly surfaces information for you whenever you need it, powered by the same Knowledge Engine that runs Google's web search. It's a personalized and customizable OS, allowing you to add your favorite apps or widgets to your home screen. You can even download new themes using the Google Play Store, which offers access to millions of apps, games, books, music, movies, and more. Android 8.0 Oreo adds major productivity and security capabilities to the operating system. They've introduced Google Play Protect, which scans apps on your phone to detect harmful behavior. With the touch of the Home button, continue to work in apps while watching active videos in Picture-in-Picture mode. Other features include, faster boot speed, automatically turning on Wi-Fi when near saved networks, limiting background activity for little used apps, notification snoozing, smart text selection, and more.

GSM / 4G LTE Wireless Connectivity
• This phone is designed to work on select GSM networks and is 4G LTE capable. LTE is an advanced cellular network data protocol capable of data speeds so fast that they compete with wired broadband Internet providers. With an LTE connection, this phone should have no problem streaming HD video, downloading apps, uploading photos, or anything else that requires a high-speed data connection. The phone is also backwards compatible with 3G and 2G data for instances when you can't get LTE. In addition to cellular wireless, this phone also features Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity.

North American Variant / US Compatible LTE
• The H8314 is a US variant of the XZ2 Premium. The H8314's LTE radio is tuned to frequencies that are most often used in the United States and North America. It can also be used in other parts of the world; however, LTE access may be limited or unsupported, depending on the network. To ensure this phone will work with your carrier please check to make sure the frequencies your carrier uses are supported by this phone. Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS)
• Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS) allows you to lower your mobile costs when traveling while staying connected. Once your SIM cards are installed, you will be able to receive phone calls and text messages from either without needing to manually choose which one is active. When you want to make a call or send an SMS message, you can select the correct SIM card. When one SIM card is being used for a phone call, the other will not be active until you hang up. Operator charges may apply.

Monochrome Photos & Video
• The rear black and white 12MP image sensor can do more than enhance your normal photos. You can use the sensor exclusively to capture dramatic monochrome photos and video with a classic look.

Get Artistic with Bokeh
• The rear cameras have the ability to provide your photos with a soft bokeh effect that blurs the background, enhancing the foreground subject and making them stand out more in your photos.

Captivating Dynamic Vibration
• The HDR display and high resolution audio reproduction are a treat for the eyes and ears, but Sony's Dynamic Vibration System gives you a third sense with which to enjoy your movies and music. It analyses the audio data and then vibrates the phone accordingly, to let you actually feel the action. For a more traditional experience, you can simply switch off this feature, giving you complete control.

3D Creator
• Create your very own 3D avatars with the Xperia XZ2 Premium and 3D Creator. 3D Creator is an intuitive app that lets you use the XZ2 Premium and the Motion Eye 19MP camera to scan an object, like your face, and generate a 3D avatar model of it. Use that 3D avatar to stand out on social media, share it with friends and family, or print it out for a cool display piece or gift.

Front-Facing Stereo Speakers
• Share your favorite videos with your friends thanks to the Xperia XZ2 Premium's front facing speakers. Featuring S-Force Front Surround, they are designed to be loud enough for everyone to hear.

Fingerprint Sensor
• The fingerprint sensor is located in a natural place on the back of the phone, so you can unlock it without moving your hand. The camera is also positioned closer to the center, so you can frame and compose your shots just like a pro.

Gorilla Glass 5 and IP65/68 Protection
• Certified IP65/68 the Xperia XZ2 Premium is designed to withstand splashes, spills and unexpected showers so you don't have to think twice about answering the phone in the rain. And with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 your phone is protected on the front and back.

Predictive Capture
• Predictive Capture automatically detects motion or a smile, and will start taking photos before you press the shutter button, to help you never miss a smile or surprising moment again.

Autofocus Burst
• Take super-sharp motion shots with Autofocus burst. It tracks and captures sequences of moving objects in sharp focus, to help prevent blurry action shots.

Updated Image Processing
• Sony's Exmor RS for mobile sensor, G Lens, and Bionz for mobile processor have been updated and redesigned to provide accurate imaging with superb, corner-to-corner optical clarity.

TRILUMINOS Display for Mobile
• TRILUMINOS display for mobile maps colors from a wider palette to help create a more natural look with deep color detail.

High-Resolution Audio
• The XZ2 Premium features High-Resolution Audio technology that's meant to give you a realistic, lifelike audio experience, even with compressed files. DSEE HX works to lift them up so they're closer to the original recording.

LDAC Bluetooth Streaming
• LDAC technology works to improve sound quality when connecting the phone to (optional) wireless speakers or headphones. This enhanced Bluetooth technology can handle near High-Resolution Audio.

Fine-Tuned Audio
• Sony's ClearAudio+ and Clear BASS are a suite of technologies that are engineered to fine tune the sound that you hear, as well as providing you with deep and rich bass notes. For a more customized aural experience, a digital equalizer is at your fingertips.

Long Lasting Battery with Stamina
• The XZ2 Premium features a 3540 mAh battery and Sony Stamina mode. The XZ2 Premium estimates how long your battery will last, based on your normal usage of the phone, and then will warn you if it thinks you'll run out of power later in the day, prompting you to turn on Stamina mode. Stamina will limit functions and apps from being able to drain the battery when needed.
