Hi-Resolution Amplifier
• Optimized for High-Resolution Audio, the S-Master HX amplifier reduces distortion and noise, allowing you to enjoy all the subtleties in your music.

True DSD Playback and Support
• Enjoy sound quality higher than PCM, thanks to the Direct Stream Digital audio codec, designed specifically for high-resolution audio. This 1-bit format can deliver a more natural and detailed sound. The result is clear and crisp.

DSEE HX Upscaling
• DSEE HX builds on Sony's proprietary DSEE technology, upscaling compressed audio files to a level that's closer to High-Resolution Audio. By restoring the subtleties of the original recording that are lost during the compression process, DSEE HX aims to deliver a rich, studio-quality audio experience for all your music.

4.4mm Balanced Connection
• In addition to the standard 3.5mm connection, the NW-ZX300 features a 4.4mm balanced plug, designed for Sony's balanced connection cable. This supplies compatible headphones with fully discrete left and right channels, unlike conventional headphones that share a ground wire. The result is better external noise suppression and improved stereo imaging, as well as more headroom for powerful sound delivery.

Aluminum Milled Frame
• A rigid aluminum milled frame provides strong resistance to electrical noise, ensuring a clear, stable sound.

Precision-Engineered Build
• The circuit board has been engineered for efficiency. The layout from the battery to the audio block minimizes the power loop, making the power supply stable. This results in a clear sound with solid low end. Other precision-engineered components include high-quality film capacitors for a linear response across frequency, lead-free solder on the circuit board and the S-Master HX chip (CXD-3778GF), resulting in an efficient electronic connection.

USB DAC
• You can use this device as a USB DAC (digital-analog converter) by pairing it with a Mac or Windows PC. When connected and activated using the supplied USB cable, the unit replaces your computer's regular sound processing with its own hardware.

MQA Support
• This device is fully compatible with MQA, furthering its functionality when it comes to lossless music.

LDAC Transmission
• LDAC uses a conventional Bluetooth connection, but transfers at a maximum data transfer rate up to 990 kbps-approximately three times that of other audio profiles. The result is a wireless listening experience capable of streaming PCM files with high sample rates.

• A touch-sensitive matte glass screen allows smooth fingertip control with fewer fingerprints.

Expandable Memory
