Product description The white CM82-EZS-II-WH 8" Coaxial Shallow Backcan In-Ceiling Speaker from SoundTube Entertainment incorporates an 8" polypropylene driver with a butyl rubber surround in a sealed drawn steel backcan. This speaker delivers a high-quality response from a frequency range of 65 Hz to 22 kHz, -10 dB. Engineered for applications with limited plenum space, this speaker features a SoundTube-specific shallow backcan with an installed depth of 3.5 inches. The CM82-EZS-II-WH Speaker features a constant-tension, fixed-wing mounting system with a 21-gauge steel tile bridge ensuring rapid and secure installation in any sheet-rock or drop-tile application. It also features 6-position tap switch for 25, 70.7, and 100V applications with transformer bypass position. The speaker is developed specifically for paging and background music applications such as hotels, education, healthcare, retail stores, restaurants, airports, churches, or boardrooms. - Engineered for applications with limited plenum space incorporating a SoundTube-specific shallow backcan with an installed depth of 3.5"
- 8" polypropylene woofer with butyl rubber surround and one 1" silk dome tweeter
- Easy-access, 6-position tap switch for 25/70.7/100V and 16 ohms; transformer bypass settings
- 16 ohm settings allows for the use of multiples of two, four, or six speakers in a system using a standard amplifier without a transformer
- Maximum sensitivity of 88 dB
- Integrated sealed enclosure
- Optimum voice intelligibility with an average coverage angle of 105° (2 to 10 kHz, independently verified)
- Incorporates a painted steel grille with rust inhibitor for durability
- Can be installed on ceilings with thickness ranging from 0.04 to 1.60"
- UL 1480 (UEAY), 2043, cUL, and CE (EMC Directive 89/366/EEC, EN55020, EN55013) approved
