Product description The Spectra Film Gate Photometer Meter II from Spectra Cine is a photometric system for measuring exposure levels and uniformity in continuous color printers. This highly sensitive measuring device reads directly in printer steps of 0.025 log exposure units. The large, uncrowded scale has an 80 printer point range and affords ease and accuracy in reading. The Spectra Film Gate Photometer II consists of a read-out unit and a series of probes which are inserted in the film gate of color printers. The probes are designed to monitor and help maintain optimum performance, (color balance, density, and uniformity) of motion picture printers. - Electro-Optical Design
- The ability to check both illumination uniformity and average irradiance level in a single device is made possible by use of a unique electro-optical design which utilizes an ultra-stable segmented silicon cell in conjunction with electronic scanning
- Color Probes
- The color probes measure the average irradiance (exposure) through red, green, and blue filters. These filters enable the probes to see light as the film does
- Optimum Performance
- The Spectra Film Gate Photometer II consists of a read-out unit and a series of probes which are inserted in the film gate of color printers. The probes are designed to monitor and help maintain optimum performance, (color balance, density, and uniformity) of motion picture printers
