Product description The iTank i310-SB3 eSATA HDD/SSD Enclosure from Stardom is able to natively support both 3.5" and 2.5" hard drives and SSDs in its lone SATA III 6 Gb/s drive bay. It connects to your system using its USB 3.0 and eSATA ports. Its USB 3.0 port is compatible with USB 2.0 and provides data transfer speeds up to 5 Gb/s, while its eSATA port provides speeds of up to 6 Gb/s. When this enclosure is equipped with 2.5" drives, it supports drive heights up to 15mm. It is well suited for tasks such as intensive applications including audio/video editing, digital photography, and high-speed data backup. The iTank i310-SB3 eSATA HDD/SSD Enclosure operates using 100-240 VAC at 50-60 Hz and includes a USB 3.0 cable, an eSATA cable, an AC power adapter, and an accessory kit. - eSATA (6 Gb/s) and USB 3.0 (5 Gb/s) Compatibility
- The iTank i310-SB3 is fitted with a 6 Gb/s e-SATA port and 5 Gb/s USB 3.0 interfaces, offering fast transfer speeds compared to USB 2.0 and FireWire 800. In addition, the USB 3.0 model is backward compatible with USB 2.0 for users who haven't yet upgraded to USB 3.0

- Removable Design
- The i310's removable drive tray can accommodate 3.5" HDDs, 2.5" SSDs, and 2.5" HDDs up to 15mm in height. It combines the convenience of external plug and play drives with the advantages in stability offered by internal drives, enabling you to enjoy the best of both worlds and increased mobility. In addition, the silver and black trays share the same structural design, making them compatible with all Stardom 3.5" drive enclosures
- Spare Removable Drive Tray Available
- The Stardom removable 3.5" drive trays are designed to fit any 3.5" SATA or SAS hard drive for swapping. Each also comes with a protective casing that protects the drive enclosed when archiving and mobility is required. The removable 3.5" drive tray comes in two versions, with the silver and the black and both being interchangeable to fit virtually all Stardom 3.5" drive enclosures
- Time Machine Ready
- The iTank i310 is compatible with Apple's Time Machine. Using any of its available connections, your files can be backed up to any HFS+ formatted drive
- Expand Your iPhoto Library
- As your photo library grows, it may become too big to store on your computer's hard drive. Aperture lets you set up as many external drives as you want and specify where to store each of your photos - without changing anything in your Aperture library. You can access and edit your photos the way you usually do, no matter where the originals are stored. This feature also allows you to add hard drives one at a time, whenever you need them, allowing your setup to grow along with your library
