Product description The SOHORAID 4-Bay 2.5"/3.5" RAID Enclosure from STARDOM provides four 2.5"/3.5" SATA III bays for hard drives or solid-state drives in either RAID 0, RAID 5, or JBOD configurations. Each drive can hold up to 8TB for a total of 32TB under RAID 0 mode and 24TB under RAID 5 mode. RAID 0 has high I/O speed with 100% capacity, however if a drive fails, all data is lost. RAID 5 allows 75% capacity, but data is not lost if a drive fails. The enclosure features two FireWire 800 ports, a USB 3.0 port, and an e-SATA port so it can be used in both MAC and Windows PC environments. Made of 3.5mm-thick aluminum, the body is tough and durable, and has a grip handle for mobility. - LCD display and LED indicators for system monitoring during operation
