Product description The Sohotank ST2-SB3 2-Bay USB 3.0 RAID Array from Stardom features two hot-swappable drive trays that can accommodate 3.5" and 2.5" SATA III HDDs or SSDs. It can support up to 8TB per drive for a max capacity of 16TB. Multiple RAID settings such as RAID 0, 1, and JBOD (independent), enable you to configure this device to your needs. Connect it to the host system via USB 3.0 and e-SATA. Before using the ST2-SB3's e-SATA port, make sure that the host supports the port multiplier function in order for system to identify all the drives. By using the USB 3.0 interface and a RAID 0 configuration, the Sohotank can achieve read speeds of up to 330 MB/s. Performance will vary depending on your system and the drives installed. With an aluminum unibody design and a built-in low-noise fan, the Sohotank will keep your drives protected, cool, and operational. -
