Product description Eyepiece Imagers: Capture the Universe and Share, Tweet, or Whatever It Read More xwxyscfyfvszxcccsbuueatyfwvxtdcdq With a 1392x1040 high-resolution Sony ICX825AL ExView2 color sensor, high quantum efficiency, and wide field of view, the Starlight Xpress Ultrastar Color Imager and Autoguider can be used as a stand-alone wide-field astro-imager or as an autoguider to help you take your astrophotography to the next level. It is powered and controlled via a single micro-B USB 2.0 cable connected to your Windows computer and running the included guide software. The RJ12 out socket is used to connect the Ultrastar to your GoTo mount's autoguider port—located on the mount or hand controller depending on the model—to directly control the mount for accurate long-duration tracking during your astrophotography sessions without having to touch the mount or requiring you to leave your remote location. The Ultrastar is made to simply drop into 1.25" drawtubes and accessories in your primary scope when you want it to be used as an imager, or installed on smaller guide scopes piggybacked on your larger imaging rig. Auxiliary CS-type threads allow you to directly connect the Ultrastar to smaller CCTV lenses, or more standard C-lenses with the addition of an optional adapter. The included software allows you to control the Ultrastar when using it as an autoguider, and Starlight Live downloads for Windows and Mac OSX give you the ability to capture, stack, and edit images while viewing through the camera in live view.
