Product description The black StarTech 1-Port USB 2.0 Extender over Cat5/6 lets you extend a USB 2.0 connection over distances up to 330’ (100 m) over standard Cat5 or Cat6 Ethernet cabling.
Backward compatible with USB 1.x devices, this extender enables almost any kind of USB device to be placed at remote locations away from the host computer system. With a data bandwidth up to 480 Mbps and no required software installation, this USB extender makes for a fast, easy-to-set up, and versatile USB extension solution. It features a sleek metal enclosure that ensures durability in all types of operating environments. Plus, the extender provides up to a full 500 mA of power (with the use of an external power adapter at the remote end; sold separately), allowing for greater compatibility with bus-powered USB devices. - Extend a USB 2.0 device up to 330' away from the computer over a single Cat5/6 Ethernet cable
- Connect USB devices with up to 480 Mbps of bandwidth and full 500 mA of power for improved speed, compatibility, and reliability
