Product description The StarTech 2.5" SATA Hot-Swap Drive Bay converts a desktop's 3.5" bay to hold one 2.5" SSD or HDD. The bay is compatible with storage drives featuring a SATA III, II, or I interface and offers hot-swap support for quickly changing drives without restarting the system. To protect hard drives from vibrations, four anti-vibration bumpers are on board. Moreover, you can lock its drive bay door to prevent unauthorized access. - Hot swap drives between systems using a 2.5" SATA drive in a 3.5" front drive bay
- Four anti-vibration bumpers provide vibration protection
- Supports one 2.5" SATA SSD/HDD with drive heights from 5 to 15mm high
- Compatible with SATA I, II, and III interface with file transfer speed of up to 6 Gb/s
- Vents to optimize heat dissipation
