Product description The 300 Mb/s PCIe 802.11 b/g/n Wireless Network Adapter from StarTech adds high-speed wireless network connectivity to almost any PCIe-enabled desktop/workstation PC. Using a 2T2R (2 transmitter/2 receiver) design over the 2.4 GHz frequency, this PCIe wireless card provides up to 300 Mb/s of data bandwidth over an 802.11n network, while improving signal reception and range. Backwards compatible with 802.11b/g networks (11/54 Mb/s), this Wi-Fi N adapter offers a versatile wireless networking solution with support for standard and advanced security options such as WEP, WPA, and WPA2. It also supports wireless Quality of Service (QoS) and facilitates quick and easy setup through WPS. - PCIe 2.0 and 802.11n compliance ensure a fast, reliable wireless-N network connection, while still being able to connect to older wireless b/g networks
- Support for wireless network security protocols and QoS ensures a safe and efficient network experience
- Includes both a full and low profile/half-height bracket for installation into any sized desktop computer
- Connect a remote workstation PC to a wireless-N network in environments where running network cables are not feasible
