Product description The black 4-Port RS232 PCI Serial Card Adapter with Power Output from StarTech turns a PCI slot into four RS232 (DB9) serial connections and enables compatible devices to draw power from the serial ports. Suitable for many RS232-powered serial applications, this PCI serial card offers a selectable 5V or 12V power option, capable of power output using pin 1, 4, 8 or 9, which enables you to configure the card to suit the requirements of your powered RS232 devices. A flexible solution for adding serial ports to full-sized or small form factor systems, the PCI serial card includes both low- and full-profile brackets. It also includes a breakout cable which helps to avoid cluttered connections. - Selectable 5/12V power output on one of four different pins (1/4/8/9) provides the flexibility needed to connect nearly any powered serial device
- The included breakout cable is a cost-effective, all-in-one solution that allows the addition of multiple RS232 serial ports through a single PCI slot
- Includes both low-profile/half-height and full-profile brackets to ensure fitment into a broad range of system form factors
- Four high-speed RS232 serial ports with data transfer rates up to 460 Kbps
- Universal PCI card supports installation into 3.3 or 5V PCI slots
- Compliant with PCI specifications revision 3.0
- High-performance Oxford 16C950 UART
- 128-byte deep FIFO per transmitter and receiver
