Product description The 8-Port PCIe Low-Profile Serial Adapter Card from StarTech adds 8 RS-232 serial ports to your computer via a single low-profile PCIe slot with data rates up to 921 kb/s. It can be used with a broad variety of serial peripherals, including printers, scanners, industrial controls, and more. The adapter includes 2 breakout cables, each with 4 DB-9 connectors for a total of 8 ports. The serial adapter card is designed to fit in small/micro form factor computer cases. It also includes 2 standard profile brackets for compatibility with full size cases. - Includes 2 breakout cables, helping to avoid crowded connections
- Pre-configured with low-profile brackets and comes complete with 2 standard profile brackets for compatibility with almost any computer case
- Offers eight RS-232 DB9 connections using a single PCIe slot
- Two high-performance 16C950 UART channels
- Maximum data transfer rate up to 921 kb/s
- Compliant with PCIe specification, Revision 1.0a
