Product description The black Composite Video Extender over Cat5 with Audio from Startech lets you extend a composite video source signal with supporting audio up to 660' (200 m) using standard Cat5 UTP cabling. The composite over Cat5 extender comprises of 2 extender units that can be used interchangeably. One is installed near the video signal source, while the other is to be placed near the desired display, up to 660' (200 m) away.With no software or power adapter requirements, installation and setup is quick and hassle-free. The included installation / mounting kit and BNC to RCA composite video adapters offer added flexibility in the placement and usage of the device. The Cat5 extension design allows you to make use of existing Cat5 or better wiring infrastructure.This extender is suitable for classrooms, projectors, tradeshows, and retail displays. It can be used in home or commercial applications as a fast means of connecting composite video equipment over long distances. - Works with shielded twisted pair (STP) and unshielded twisted pair (UTP) Cat5 cable
