Product description The black DisplayPort DVI Video Adapter Converter from StarTech allows you to connect a DVI-D display to a DisplayPort video source such as DisplayPort video cards and more. It eliminates the expense of upgrading to a DisplayPort enabled display. It also provides a hassle-free connection to any DisplayPort video card/signal source. The adapter supports display resolution of up to 1920 x 1200, allowing you to take full advantage of single link DVI capability. It is a passive adapter that requires a DP++ (DisplayPort++)port, which means that the DVI and the HDMI signals can also pass through the port. - Small form factor converter makes the DisplayPort backwards compatible with your DVI-D display
