Product description Retrieve data from your 2.5" or 3.5" SATA hard drive using the eSATA / USB 3.0 SATA III Hard Drive Docking Station from StarTech. This HDD docking station features a single SATA drive connection and supports both USB 3.1 Gen 1 and eSATA cables. As a result, you can plug the OS-independent dock into nearly any computer without having to download and install any software or hardware drivers. Once connected, you can begin transferring data quickly via the USB or eSATA ports while the built-in LED indicator shows the power/activity of your connection. - Enhanced Compatibility
- For convenient compatibility and time-saving performance, this docking station can be connected through the USB 3.1 Gen 1 port, with support for full USB 3.1 Gen 1 bandwidth (5 Gb/s) as well as UASP, which delivers performance up to 70% faster than conventional USB 3.1 Gen 1 when paired with a UASP-enabled host controller. For fast performance and efficient data transfers, the dock also supports the full SATA III bandwidth of 6 Gb/s when connected through eSATA.
