Product description The black Remote Receiver with Audio Support for VGA Video Extension over CAT5 Cable from StarTech is a video distribution system that simplifies the implementation of digital signage solutions by allowing a VGA source with audio to be broadcast over a CAT5 cable (sold separately) up to 950’ away.Multiple units of this receiver when used with ST124UTPEA 4- or ST128UTPEA 8-port VGA & Audio extenders (sold separately) allow transmission of a single VGA output and corresponding audio to 4 or 8 displays over standard CAT5 or better UTP cable (sold separately).You can also multiply the number of remote displays in your setup by adding the STUTPEA4X VGA & Audio over CAT5 Line Splitter (sold separately) to it, allowing your VGA and accompanying audio signals to be broadcast up to a total 16 displays. - Extend and distribute VGA signals and the accompanying audio to a remote display over a CAT5 cable (sold separately)
- Send videos and audio over a CAT5 or better cable to remote displays
- Receiver supports a resolution of 1280 x 1024 / 720p for monitors situated up to 950' away and 1920 x 1080/1080p for the ones situated 250' away
- Choice of using a 4- or 8-port transmitter / extender unit (sold separately)
- Extends the connection distance of VGA signals by up to 950' offering flexibility in the placement of your equipment
- CAT5 extension design allows you to make use of existing CAT5 or better wiring infrastructure
