Product description The black SATDUP13 Standalone 1:3 SATA 2.5"/3.5" HDD Duplicator & Eraser from StarTech lets you copy up to three, or erase up to four SATA HDDs or SSDs simultaneously, without having to connect to a host computer. It works with any 3.5" or 2.5" SATA HDD or SSD, and features an integrated LCD that makes it easy to monitor cloning/erasing performance. The versatile 1:3 duplicator features three operating modes for duplication, including Data Only, All Partitions, and Sector by Sector cloning. It also offers several erase modes, including Quick Erase, Secure Erase, and Single-Pass/Multi-Pass Hard Drive Overwriting (DoD), which passes over the hard drive three times to ensure that the data has been completely wiped. For increased scalability, the HDD duplicator/eraser features a daisy-chain port that gives you the option to combine multiple SATDUP13 units together, allowing up to four additional drives to be erased or copied with each added unit, to help save you time. - High quality aluminum construction
