Product description The black ST121R VGA Video Extender Remote Receiver Over Cat5 from StarTech is specifically designed for use as a receiver unit to StarTech’s ST1214T 4 Port, and ST1218T 8 Port VGA over Cat5 UTP Extender Transmitter Units (sold separately). It allows you to split and extend a single VGA source to up to 4 remote displays over a Cat5 cable.From the transmitter device, the VGA video signal is sent over standard 4 pair Category 5 or better UTP cable to remote monitors, each connected to an ST121R Cat 5 VGA receiver, supporting distances of up to 500’ (150 m).This receiver provides a good video extension solution and is suitable for a wide range of environments including airports, bus depots, retail, or any large buildings where VGA video needs to be extended to long connection distances. - Extends the connection distance of VGA displays by up to 500' (150 m) offering flexibility in the placement of your equipment
