Product description The black, 1' StarTech USB to RS232 Serial DB9 Adapter Cable with COM Retention lets you connect RS232 serial devices to a laptop or desktop through the USB port. This adapter has a baud rate of up to 921.6 Kbps and comes with USB 2.0 technology. With COM retention, it retains serial port values when disconnected and reconnected or moved to a different port. Values are stored in its nonvolatile memory. Furthermore, the adapter supports remote wake up and power management control features. - Supports data transfer rates of up to 920 Kpbs
