Product description Steadicam's M1 Sled is designed for professional applications in television and cinema. Able to support and stabilize camera packages weighing up to 48 pounds, large ENG, EFP, and cinema cameras can be balanced to achieve smooth motion through a scene, with the legendary flowing aesthetic that Steadicam products are known for.Carbon fiber and aluminum are the main materials in the M1's construction. They keep the M1 light while allowing it to remain rigid and supportive. The extendable post has integral cables for power and video that run through it. Cables terminate at the camera plate, the base, and the monitor mount. This iteration of the M1 includes a 8" Transvideo monitor whose display, at a brightness of 1500 cdm², is easily visible outdoors. The M1 system is comprised of modular components, and can be easily serviced in the field to fit the needs of the shoot.Note: This is the sled only, a separately available vest and arm are required for proper operation - Stage
- The M-1 stage is built for holding high loads with precision and center drives for rigidity and smooth balance adjustment. The entire stage can be easily removed from the central post system for cleaning or repairs.
