If you like hunting in low light, consider the 1.6-8x42 Nighthunter Xtreme Riflescope from Steiner. It is optimized to over-perform in twilight and at medium-to-long ranges. The state-of-art optics feature superior-quality optical glass, multiple anti-reflection coatings, and an additional Diamond Night Lens Coating that improves image brightness, resolution, contrast, and clarity in low light. The 42mm objective lens is wide enough to deliver bright images in most lighting situations. You also do not have to worry about moisture, dust, grease, or dirt abstracting your view because a special hydrophobic coating on the lens will protect it.
The illuminated 4A-1 German #4 Reticle is another highlight of this riflescope. It is located in the second focal plane and features three medium posts, a thin crosshair, and a brightly illuminated fine center dot. With its wide gate, it will provide a clear view of your targets. Additionally, the Steiner Smart Illumination has an auto-off function and a feature that stores and re-activates the most recent illumination setting.
The aluminum housing is durable and lightweight and boasts a rugged single-piece main tube. While outside the body is protected with rubber armoring, the inside it is filled with nitrogen to provide a fogproof and waterproof performance. Do not worry about accidentally getting it wet or dropping into water because this riflescope is submersible to 6'. To add more convenience, the eyepiece allows for a fast focusing action and has a low profile lever for one-finger operation.
