If you can benefit from enhancing identification of your game on various backgrounds, consider the 3-15x50 GS3 Riflescope with S1 Reticle from Steiner. This riflescope features Color Adjusted Transmission (CAT) lens coatings that produce images with color and contrast that are optimized for human vision, which makes it easier to see detail on a variety of backgrounds and to identify your game and targets. While the improved 5x zoom offers sharp images and allows you to make precise long-distance shots, the 56mm objective provides ultimate image brightness and visibility in low-light conditions like dusk and dawn. To help you compensate for a wind drift and bullet drop, there are a 70 MOA windage adjustments and elevation adjustments with a 1/4 MOA point impact correction.
Located in the second focal plane, the Steiner Plex S1 Reticle features ballistic lines to help you determine holdover distances and compensate for crosswinds. The hash marks below the center help you to compensate for a bullet drop at ranges of 200, 300, 400, 500, and 600 yards. The reticle also features a series of dots under the crosshair, winch help you to compensate for 10 mph cross winds.
To enable you to use and store this riflescope in a wide range of environmental conditions, the housing is made from anodized aluminum and offers protection against recoil, impact, water immersion, and fogging-up of the lenses. The windage and elevation knobs are resettable and capped, and the knurled diopter and zoom rings allow easy adjustments. The zoom ring also has a low profile lever for easy one-finger adjustments.
