Product description The B&H Binocular Buying Guide Read More - We Are Steiner
- Commander Series
Designed with a moderate magnification and large objectives, the Steiner Optics 7x50 Marine Binocular is an ideal choice for hunters, outdoor enthusiasts, and boaters. The power and aperture combination translates to a generous field of view and an impressive exit pupil that helps to mitigate the disorientation common when looking through binoculars on rolling or rough water, or the appearance of the visible hand-shake associated with high-power optics. Its traditional Porro prism optical path provides a rich depth of field to clearly see the difference between near and distant objects, while a proprietary floating prism system absorbs the force from drops or knocks to protect the prisms and their alignment. For ease-of-use the Marine is outfitted with Steiner's Sports-Auto-Focus system that enables each eyepiece to be individually focused to ensure the sharpest views possible. The chassis is made of Makrolon polycarbonate which is corrosion, impact and temperature-resistant, and the optical tubes are nitrogen filled and O-ring sealed to be water and fogproof even in extreme weather conditions. Whether in the wild outdoors or on the rolling seas, the Marine binocular will be your constant companion for all your glassing needs. - Optical Performance
