Product description Steiner Optics designed the desert sand CQBL-1 Close Quarters Battle Visible/IR Laser Sight as a durable yet compact 24/7 aiming device that combines red visible and infrared aiming lasers. Its 850nm infrared laser is visible with NVDs up to 273 yards away, and the red has a max range of 16' during the day or 273 yards at night. The CQBL-1's two laser are co-aligned to allow the operator to zero or correct the impact point of both lasers simultaneously using the finger-adjustable windage/elevation dials. The dials, laser selector switch, and activation button are all recessed to eliminate snag points and reduce the sight's overall profile. The activation button and included remote pressure pad work with a Double-Tap system. The remote increases the usability and operator safety by allowing them to control the CQBL-1 while remaining in the firing position. Simply tap either switch once for momentary activation, double-tap for five-minutes continuous. A rotary toggle selector switch on the top of the housing enables the operator to activate the laser to suit the targeting task. The laser system runs on a single CR123A battery with a max runtime of about 3 hours.A Picatinny clamp rail-mount is integrated into the overall design to further reduce the form-factor to make this sight ideal for use on with virtually every sub-machine gun and short barrel rifle. The CQBL-1 housing is made of the strong and lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum alloy with a desert sand corrosion and scratch-resistant Mil-Spec hard-anodized finish.
