Product description Steiner Optics' DBAL-I2 Dual-Beam Green Visible/IR Aiming Laser is a durable yet compact tactical and covert operations aiming device that combines green visible and infrared lasers to create a true day/night aiming device. Its 850nm infrared laser is visible with NVDs up to 273 yards away, and the green has a max range of 16.4 yards during the day or 820 yards at night. The human eye is able to see green easily and at further distances than the commonly used red, and is virtually invisible to most species of game, making it ideal for varmint hunting. Each laser has its own windage and elevation adjustment dials; and the visible laser dials are hand-adjustable for faster corrections. The four adjustment dials and push-button switch are protected to reduce snag-points and to prevent accidental activation and adjustments. Facing the user is a selector toggle switch to choose high or low output modes for each laser, and LEDs that show when the sight is activated and when the battery is low.The laser system runs on a single included CR123A battery with a max runtime of about three hours. A quick release Picatinny rail mount is integrated into the overall design to help reduce the form-factor to make this sight ideal for use on with virtually any rifle platform. Threaded mounting holes are machined into the top of the housing allowing for the easy addition of a short top rail for accessories such as IR illuminators or reflex sight. The housing is made of the strong and lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum alloy with a desert sand corrosion and scratch-resistant MIL-STD hard-anodized finish.
