Product description

Designed as an invaluable tactical tool for covert and night operations, Steiner Optics' DBAL-I2 Infrared Aiming Laser with IR LED Illuminator is a durable yet compact device that combines an infrared aiming laser with a powerful IR illuminator. Its 850nm infrared laser is visible with NVDs up to 273 yards away, and its illuminator beam is adjustable from a tight 2° spot for target designation, or it can be opened up to 30° to flood a large area to make staging or navigation easier using NVDs.A rear-facing rotary selector switch enables the operator to quickly choose the output - IR laser or IR illuminator - and intensity to suit the targeting task. The laser system runs on a single CR123A battery with a max runtime of about 3 hours. A quick-release Picatinny rail mount is integrated into the overall design to help reduce the form-factor to make this sight ideal for use on with virtually any rifle platform. The housing is made of the strong and lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum alloy with a matte black corrosion and scratch-resistant MIL-STD hard-anodized finish. Threaded mounting holes are machined into the top of the housing allowing for the easy addition of a short top rail for accessories such as larger IR illuminators or a reflex sight.
