Product description Useful enough to be a professional's EDC light, the Steiner Optic Mk5 Battle Light LED Flashlight is tough enough to withstand the rigors of recoil when mounted on a weapon. It gives users a maximum output of 800 darkness-piercing lumens when used with two user-supplied CR123A batteries; it can also run on one 18650 rechargeable battery, but this reduces the output to a lower, but still very bright, 650 lumens. This powerful light features a deep reflector with an adjustable beam angle from a tight 8° spot that is ideal for lighting a specific subject, to a broader 10° flood that is useful for general searches and to preserve situational awareness. Its shrouded tailcap switch enables momentary and constant-on output options to tailor its use to the situation.Designed for law enforcement, military, and other tactical professionals, the body has a stepped-down handle with integrated collars that help facilitate various specialized light/pistol grips as well as preventing the light from rolling when laid down. To withstand the abuse of daily use, the lightweight aluminum alloy housing has a corrosion and scratch-resistant anodized finish, it is O-ring sealed to make it waterproof and submersible to 16', while the light's broad -40 to 149°F operating temperature range enables it to be used with confidence in all weather and conditions. The Mk5 Battle Light can be weapon-mounted with the use of optional adapters and mounts. - Performance
