Product description Utilizing an eye-safe 850nm IR LED emitter, the SPIR Special Purpose IR LED Illuminator from Steiner will illuminate shadowed areas or targets for users equipped with a night vision device. This unit has a selector switch for changing between the 300mW and 600mW output settings along with an integrated momentary activation switch on the tailcap. Also, it has an integrated remote cable port and comes with a quick release Picatinny/Weaver mount for attachment to a firearm.
The SPIR features an anodized-aluminum housing for durability and it is waterproof to 16' deep. Additionally, it is powered by two CR123A batteries which will provide a runtime of about two hours. - IR Illuminator
