Product description A pocket-sized light with a big output, the Streamlight PolyTac 2L-X USB LED Flashlight offers the convenience of a rechargeable power supply—with no battery charging cradle needed. The included 18650 cell has its own micro-USB port for easy charging anywhere. The light can also run on two CR123A batteries. With a high-power setting of 500 lumens, a power-saving but still capable 40-lumen low setting and a strobe for disorienting an adversary or emergency signaling, the PolyTac 2L-X is suited to a range of professional, recreational and home uses. The tailcap push-button switch is used to cycle through the settings and you can select from three programs that put the light levels you use most often at your fingertips— high/strobe/low, high only, or low/high.
The type II anodized machined aluminum housing has an IP68 water-resistance rating, submersible to 3.3' and impact resistant to 6.6'. This item comes in clamshell packaging. - Light Performance

I recently purchased the Protac 2L-X which came with the streamlight SL-B
26 rechargeable battery. The battery and the flashlight are both functioning. But when the tail cap is closed all the way it does not turn on. Any idea as to why this could be happening.
