Product description The Strut GTC-3 Gunner Transport Case is a professional field case designed to protect and carry various shoulder mounted JVC, Sony and similar-sized camcorders, and accessories. It is made from waterproofed 1000 denier Cordura, with a waterproofed silver 200 denier lining. The camcorder viewfinder is particularly vulnerable to impact. A special armored shield (blister) is designed into the sidewall of the case to give added protection for the camcorder viewfinder. The shape of the shield is intended to deflect impact from the front, and the extended bag length allows for flexibility in lens length. This approach allows limiting of camera movement inside the case during transport. It also allows the addition of large organizer pockets without making the case too wide for airline travel. Pockets all have oversized YKK zipper closings, so that you can properly secure contents. All pockets have storm flaps to protect the contents from dust and soggy weather and to protect the zippers against abrasion. Storm flaps are designed to fold out of the way for easy zipper operation. Extra width is provided in the right places to allow for large sunscreens and most matte boxes. In addition to padding, the sidewalls have rigid plastic inserts to protect against impact and maintain the structural integrity of the case. There are four rubber feet on the bottom of the case for added cushioning, to prevent wear, and to keep the case up off wet surfaces. There is a "fifth foot" in the center of the case to provide a proper foundation for the camera below the junction of the camera body and the lens. The case is carried by dual carry handles with a tanned leather grip, and a removable, adjustable shoulder strap with a tanned leather shoulder pad. - Waterproofed 1000 denier Cordura bag, with waterproofed silver 200 denier nylon lining, made to carry a shoulder-mounted camcorder and accessories.
