Product description The Strut Cases Sound Assist SA-4N26 Field Carrying Case is designed to expand the functionality of a portable recorder rig in the field by providing support for a wireless microphone set up. Professional Wireless receivers such as the Sennheiser ew112-P G3, Azden WR-Pro, Sony UWP-D11, Samson UM1 and similar sized systems can be accommodated. The device attaches the existing Strut cover for the H6 (STR-H6, not included) to form a complete kit for the sound engineer.
It features pockets for 4 wireless receivers, a place to hang headphones, additional cabling, and a place to put a hand mic. There is a pocket that will hold an iPad 2, white balance card, pockets for small tools, and auxiliary power options as large as an NP1 style battery/adapter.
You can prop up (out) the unit for hands-free viewing of the screen and easy level adjustment. It also comes with its own chest harness for wearing on the body or the harness can be rigged to hang the SA-4N26 on a tripod. The device is a way to extend the use of a handheld audio recorder.
