Product description The STR-DR701D Field Case from STRUT is custom-designed to house the Tascam DR-701D and DR-70D recorders. Featuring durable, waterproof 1000D Cordura fabric and padded compartments, it provides full access to the unit's controls and connections while protecting the electronics from weather, dust, and impacts when working on location.
The STR-DR701D is equipped with a clear vinyl cover for dust and rain protection, which rolls out of the way when not needed. Battery changes are made easy with the bottom door which gives access to the recorder's batteries. Additionally, the case includes a pocket and cabling options for the Tascam BP-6AA battery pack (available separately). - Lightweight (at 7.5 oz), small-footprint protective case, with easy access to all Tascam DR-701D and DR-70D features
- Durable, soft, and supple 1000D Cordura fabric—with waterproof coating
- Removable clear vinyl cover for dust and rain protection also serves as sunscreen and travel cover—rolls out of the way when not needed
- Left and right cable boots with zipper and hook-and-loop fastener protect connections and give easy access to XLR cables or headphone adjustments—seal out dust and moisture
- Padded front pocket with full stow-away cover and eight potential clip-on points for wireless RX or COMTEK—holds up to four G3 wireless receivers inside, with option for two clip-on receivers outside
- Cable caddy on front pocket to hang coiled cable or headphones—adjustable with quick release lobster clip
- Bottom doors for access to recorder's batteries and onboard microphones
- Belt loop and harness attachment points, for most audio harness systems
- Access to 1/4"-20 mounting thread, allowing the recorder to be mounted on a stand or in a rig next to the camera, while still in the case
- Includes HAR-2 audio harness
